B.A. Syllabus

History of Department:
Sociology Department has established in 1997. Prof. Sanjivani Mhaske was appointed as a lecturer in sociology on CHB basis from 1997 to 2000. Dr.Manjusha Motiram Nalgirkar is appointed as a lecturer in the department of sociology on16 October 2001 and carrying responsibility as Head of the department up till now. The department of sociology always actively participates in the social responsibilities, extension activities and cultural events organized by the department of NSS, Lifelong Learning and Extension activities. We always encourage the students to take part in the social activities. Sociology Department is working according to the following Objectives.
Objectives:
Create an interest among the students in sociology.
To create social awareness and social responsibility among the students.
Motivate students for social research in order to know social reality.
Overall development of the students
